What is Jewel's School Gems Club?

Jewel’s School Gems Club is an annual membership service that provides engaging STEM resources (and more) to busy elementary teachers and homeschooling parents who want to feel more organized and inspired.

How does Jewel's School Gems Club work?

When you first sign up, you will be charged $47(USD) and a recurring payment of $47(USD) will be charged annually (until cancelled). You will get instant access to ALL the resources PLUS a minimum of four (4) new resources each month.

If you need a specific topic and grade level, but can’t see what you want, contact us and we will try our best to make it for you!

What is included in the Jewel's School Gems Club membership?

For every year that you’re an active member, you’ll receive immediate access to all existing printable and digital resources in the site PLUS at least one new resource every week. That’s a minimum of 52 new resources each year!

From the moment you join, you’ll have access to hundreds of dollars’ worth of STEM activities, Science resources, digital task cards, Makerspace and Science Lab decorations, classroom rewards, and so much more!

What's the difference between Jewel's School Gems and Jewel's School Gems Club?

The Jewel’s School Gems brand now consists of four separate websites:

  • JewelSchoolGems.com
  • JewelSchoolGemsClub.com
  • TeachersPayTeachers.com/Store/Jewels-School-Gems
  • BoomLearning.com/Author/JewelSchoolGems

We started out with a store on Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) in 2014 and then expanded to selling our STEM resources on our own website, www.JewelSchoolGems.com, in 2018. Aside from a shop in USD, the website also offers FREE resources and teaching advice to subscribers. We started developing and selling digital task cards in Boom Learning in 2020 as well.

This year, we finally opened a second website, www.JewelSchoolGemsClub.com. This is the website you’re on now and where we offer our best STEM resources to our paid members. It’s also an AD FREE website!

Having two separate websites may be a little confusing at first. But it is the easiest and most convenient way for teachers and homeschooling parents to get quick access to thousands of pages of STEM resources.

Just make sure you’re logging into the correct website. Again, the link to the paid membership website is www.JewelSchoolGemsClub.com.

Do I need to be a STEM teacher before joining?

No. The membership is perfect for anyone who teaches STEM to Pre-K to 5th grade students, but both new and experienced teachers, as well as homeschooling parents, will benefit from the resources found in the site.

Please note this is NOT A SCHOOL membership. We also do not attach specific year levels to our resources since we find that even individual classes contain a full range of ability levels, so we organize our content according to resource type and units. If you cannot see what you want, please contact us so we can make it for you!

How do I get the resources?

Getting the resources is easy!

  • Purchase a yearly membership to Jewel’s School Gems Club.
  • Once payment has been completed, you will receive your login details. Make sure to check your promotions, spam, or junk folder.
  • Login to the website JewelSchoolGemsClub.com. Please make sure you’re not trying to login to our other website, www.JewelSchoolGems.com.
  • Make sure you have the correct software on your computer. We use PowerPoint, PDF, and zip files. Adobe Reader DC is free and you can get it HERE. If you don’t know how to unzip files, you can learn about it HERE.
  • Start downloading! You get instant access to the files. There’s no need to wait for links to arrive in emails!
  • We recommend that you download resources onto your laptop or home computer since school servers can sometimes block resource sites like ours. Once downloaded, you can email the file to yourself using your school email.
  • Please note if you’re using a tablet or smartphone or other mobile device, you will need to install the correct software onto that device for the files to work properly. Just like you would on your computer, you need the right program to open specific file types.

Where will I find my downloads?

You will get instant access once you click the download button on a resource. The files will be downloaded straight onto your computer so there will be no email links sent to you.

If you cannot see the file, chances are your computer has saved them to your ‘Downloads’ folder by default. This is a default setting for internet downloads on your computer that you can change. We do not have control over where your files save to when you download something. That is something that you set.

Try the following shortcuts if you can’t find your ‘Downloads’ folder:

on a PC:  Press CTRL+J
on a MAC: Press Command+J

My file isn't opening/printing properly. Help!

Please make sure you have the correct program on your computer or laptop. Almost all of our resources are on PDF and PowerPoint formats.

Our files are mainly secured PDF and may contain lot of graphics. These may look fine on your screen, but may not print out correctly.

If you’re having trouble printing a PDF, please be sure that you’re opening the file with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Once Adobe Reader DC is downloaded and installed to your computer, make sure you are not opening the file in your internet browser:

  • Save your files into your desktop.
  • Close or minimize your internet browser.
  • Right click your mouse on the file to open with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Once the file is open, Click “Print.”
  • In the “Page Sizing and Handling” section, select “Shrink Oversized Pages” if needed.
  • Click on “Advanced.”
  • Check the “Print as Image” box.
  • Print the document.
